The next generation of upright CT imaging
The 3D-DVT-HiRiseTM is the only CBCT device in the world with a large 20x43cm detector (FoV) capable of taking bilaterally loaded images from the toes to the pelvis.
The wide positioning platform allows a maximum patient weight of 204 kg and the patient can stand naturally on both feet’s during the entire scan. For WBCT imaging of the hip and pelvis, the system moves to a height of up to 119 cm. Only bilateral images guarantee a real standing position plus natural weight bearing, which is essential for alignment diagnostics and arthroplasty.
The pulsed, cone-shaped radiation generates CT volumes (axial, sagittal and coronal) of 0.3 mm slice thickness with just one 360° rotation of the gantry around the patient, as well as all standard X-ray views plus vivid 3D renderings, all DICOM-compatible.
A variety of combined multi-orbit protocols, so-called gap legs, enable alignment diagnostics by imaging the ankle, knee and hip, for example, but omitting the thigh and lower leg. This saves time, dose and data volume for an optimized workflow.
The combination of the hydraulic chair included in the scope of delivery and the horizontally swiveling gantry enables unloaded exposures of the lower extremities as well as monolateral exposures of the hand and elbow.
The head and arm freedom during the examination, the short length of stay in the device and the uncomplicated entry and exit from the examination platform offer the patient maximum comfort.
